Well, my anthem X1 seattube broke today, on my way home from work, so I was rolling along on tar. Only about 5000Km of relatively mild riding, 2 years or so old. (mostly to work and back with the odd race here and there).

 

I am fairly tall, so my seattube (it so happens) is the perfect length when exactly on the manufacturers "minimum insertion mark", still, the tube broke. Any comments? Is it my fault?

Unlucky mate, just take it back to the bike shop.

 

Doubt it will help any, it is way over the warranty/guarantee I think. Might be worth a try though.

Else I'm in the market for a secondhand anthem frame... :o/

I'm sure that Giant frames have a lifetime warrenty, I could be wrong though.
