KnobbyMech Posted February 23, 2011 Share They also do a budget hardtail, the Talon. Oops, me bad, that is true.
Tumbleweed Posted February 23, 2011 Share Oops, me bad, that is true. No worries! I bought one of them. I would've preferred to save and get the XTC, but I'm impatient. No regrets though! Love that bike!
KnobbyMech Posted February 23, 2011 Share Ahhhh truly a thing of beauty - the white accents are just right and the white hubs uber bling. NICE! When you racing again? Perhaps we can get our Giants together and make little ones? Great plan, but one problem. Your's have got a bit more horsepower than mine, no way well get them together. MichaelI65 Posted March 25, 2011 Share For those of you who can still stomach to read a debate on this subject: http://mountain.bike...in-bike-debate/Thought it was a good article. I switched to a 29er and love it to bits but who cares! Just ride and enjoy your bike whatever it is.
Doggone Posted March 25, 2011 Share It has got to look and feel right for me. I am normally quite analytical but I buy bikes on these two very subjective criteria. I love my Giant Anthem 29er. Comfortable relative to my hardtail 26' and very forgiving. Not as nimble in very tight stuff but what you can't avoid doesn't matter as the bigger wheels just roll over obstacles very easily. It doesn't matter what everyone else thinks, just what you believe. My 2c
