Giant xtc 29er or cannondale flash 29er one

So....

Is this the Cannondale you are referring to?

FLASH 29'ER 1

Looks pretty cool. Better brakes than the Giant. And if you say its a bout 1kg lighter it should climb better.

The Giant is rock solid though... and the Fox fork is great(for me anyways, I've never ridden a Lefty).

While you are doing your home work, also have a look at two other options:

Merida 29er lite 1000-D

Scott 29er ELite

I've sold plenty of the Merida's and all my customers are super happy.

Or better yet, support local.......

New MOMSEN 29er's will be available pretty soon.

contact me any time if you hae more questions.

Both schocks are of superior quility. Take the lightest one and the one you think looks the best thats the most important how it looks thats the most inportant you choose :P

I haven't seen the Carbon XTC 29er even on the international versions of the Giant website. So you might be waiting a while.

The Alu version of the XTC 29er is not exactly heavy... so don't write it off.

no im not :) there was i bike review of the carbon one, someone posted on the hub actually...... not sure where though...

take the Giant, in one of the UK magazines they tested it against the trek gary fisher and a bunch of other 29ers.

giant came out tops.

I just wonder ? If you are a small rider, riding a SMALL frame, is the bigger wheel not out of proportion to the frame, and affecting your riding position in the end?

For me, the 29ér concept is to new to know all the pitfalls

At the Sabie classic I saw some smaller riders on 29ers and they looked a bit awkward and out of sorts - maybe they were still getting used to the bikes.

Some of the thinking around 29ers is that they are more suited to taller/bigger riders?

so many mixed reviews, thinking the giant xtc carbon composite, but will only be out in about 6months time, and then can upgrade groupset later stage......
