Hey fellow hubbers

Just checked out the route profile for Sunday race.

For a beginner is this a easy or hard route 65km it looks like a lot of climbing

Just concerned for my lady friends that just started of riding.

For beginners its a good race. Not too many climbs at all. Have a look at the actual difference in the bottom and top of those spikes........ not much at all. Def a fast, flattish race.

Minor climbs they should be able to do it in about 3hrs ? :o

i heard that the ride for sight quite flat.

3hrs for which distance ?

For me Ride 4 Sight isn't flat but then I really suck at climbing.

There's a few small humps around the Heidelberg area which hurt me.

Gee you gonna be a lot faster than that.

I did a sub 3hr last year for the 103km.

I think you should target a sub 2hr.

Indigo, how does the 103km compare to the 94.7?

Much easier.

According to my Polar, Carnival has 595m of climbing, I think the 94.7 has close to 1000m.
