Hi guys I'll be moving up to the Big Smoke come 1 August and was wondering about the riding in Johannesburg. Initially, I'll be staying with family around the zoo lake area - at least until we find our own spot near a school and not too far from the office. Are there any roadie group rides around there? Or groups that do a spot of gravel riding over weekends? Thanks in advance!

Hi guys I'm from PE and will be heading to Hermanus for the upcoming school holidays. We'll be staying with Skoonma, so I plan on hitting the road a fair bit. Not knowing the area at all, I was hoping to get some advice on nice / safe road and/or gravel spots to try. Thanks in advance!

Hi guys I currently ride an old steel stallion with an Ultegra R8000 groupset. I've been toying with the idea of getting a gravel bike and due to budget constraints I thought of keeping the groupset and just getting a new frame and wheels. The frame I've been eyeing, however, is fit for a disc brake setup, so my question: can one somehow convert the current shifters to still trigger disc brakes? Would mechanical vs hydraulic make a difference [sorry if this is a stupid question - I'm typing with ten thumbs here...]? Thanks! R
