Correct on all counts. My dad created a box out of metal which sat under the dash and housed his (then) 8 track followed by radio tape and graphic equaliser, along with speakers he fitted into the doors. he would have loved this era of buying a car with a built in hifi system off the showroom floor.

Don't think my dad had any pics of his, before my time, but when I was a kid we had two of these... Renault 16TS. One my dad owned, the other his company car. Column shift, first FWD car my dad owned, if I recall correctly. Very very comfortable seats and comfortable in general. Know my dad loved them.

Finished Season 3 of Bosch on Showmax last night, will start Season 4 tonight. Love the cast and the writing. Yes, it’s a fairly atypical detective drama, but there is lots of decent, realistic, well written and acted dialogue and interaction between characters.

The bridge over Rivonia Road went up yesterday. Looked complete this morning. Used to take them much longer, clearly they've had practice. I remember hitting that thing like a ton of bricks last year and getting air on the way down the other side.

My day just seems to be a whole lot better all of a sardine.
