    Who remembers?

As a kid I knew the car changed as the show went through the years. Of course no one believed me... According to WIkipedia: 1979 Ferrari 308GTS (season 1)1981 Ferrari 308GTSi (seasons 2–6)1984 Ferrari 308GTSi quattrovalvole[14] (seasons 7–8)

Posted this video two hours before you... What am I? Chopped liver?

    Who remembers?

I LOVED this car as a kid.
  5. John Mayer also dropped a new single last night. As always, it gets catchier and catcher every time you listen.

    Who remembers?

Anyone remember the ad campaign? "Who's that guy in the EGI?!"
  7. I can only imagine. SAA have a very good safety record (despite the current mis-management issues) and I know a few SAA staff who at the time of the Helderberg going down were truly shaken to the core. They knew flight staff who were on that plane too.

Lots of Opels and VWs... Interesting.

    Who remembers?

Baby blue 1974 Beetle, bought in 1994, which ended up in a ball of flames directly under the N12 highway heading from the then PnP Hyper towards the airport, shortly thereafter in 1994.
  10. Wow that's interesting... I was always under the impression Concorde couldn't (or wasn't allowed) to fly into JHB due to noise regulations or something. Also, when standing next to one on the ground, you realise how much smaller it is than most modern planes. Much like the first time you get close to the A380 a small part of you thinks 'this thing is NEVER going to get off the ground'
  11. I dreamed on flying in one as a kid. That never happened but I did finally at least get to see one in New York at the Intrepid exhibit.
  12. Can't. Look. Away.
  13. I have been lucky enough to do just that a few times, especially when Brendan Jury (Urban Creep) was on keyboards. Arno has a new band now who are just as brilliant though.
  14. Even Kenny from the Block has one

That sucks big hairy donkey balls. Sorry squire.
  16. South African list price: R859 995... I think it's a superb looking car and probably as good to drive but that puts it in a bracket with some very attractive alternatives... Be curious to see how many are on the roads here in the next few months.
  17. Great guy, superb musician and very underrated guitarist. You know he is responsible for the iconic guitar work on this track?

    That's impressive! Well done.
  19. Big Red Barn just before sunset this evening.

    Who remembers?

My word... the number of hours I lost going through the racks at this place... And in the late Nineties, the Look & Listen in Fourways, when the whole bottom floor was just music CDs... Sigh.
  21. That MB was one properly screwed together motor car... Yours looks to be in superb condition, nicely done Sir.
