  5. Been thinking about getting one of these for ages ... the only thing holding me back is that with a cell phone you can seem to do pretty much everything you need. But it would be great to have a standalone unit so that i can leave my cell at home! those who have bought them where did you get them from? Cheers

  8. Hi Gummibear i also saw that guy the other day ,the robot turned red at the 1st Ave Newton Park /cape road intersection so instead of stopping his wheelie he grabs onto the one traffic pole and just spins around and around on his back wheel untill the traffic light turned green , seriously skillful !
  9. Is there any news regarding this issue , as i would like to get a Garmin Edge with HRM and it would be easier to justify if Vitality recognised it with regards to their POLAR heart rate incentive . Thanks

  13. Hey Grebel Thanks for the reply! yeah lights are pretty expensive this side , so thinking it may be worth the risk of getting one from overseas. im looking at that mj808e looks pretty good . Figure if i spend money on a light it may force me to do some early morning training Cheers

  15. Yeah i second that , he did a great job on my knee .I had had a previous op on the same knee by another doctor which clearly never worked out...
  16. Seeing people buying this nonsense ,makes me realise natural selection isnt working fast enough , there is still to many idiots out there!!
  17. So long as we are talking about the ladies ,not the weather !
  18. Thanks for the feedback. I just assumed more travel means softer ride , but i see your point about it changing the angle. i Have a Raleigh RMX.0 frame ,and am very happy with the way it feels and responds on the track so maybe i should think carefully about changing to a longer travel shock ??
  19. Not really i do races more to just ride somewhere different, not stressed with times and all that . happy to be able to finish and still have the energy to open a beer.
  20. Hi , I am hoping someone can give me some insight here... im currently looking for a new shock probably the rock shox recon gold rl i see it comes in two options 100mm or 120mm travel. i am more of a weekend warrior although i do the occasional race. would the 120mm offer me more comfort ? what are Pros and cons of the two ? Hopefully someone here can shed some light thanks.
  21. Sad thing is the people who fell for this SCAM , will fall for the next one as well ...
