  1. Reminds me of this..."There is no I in TEAM, but...."
  2. Jacques if you know anything about cycling then you should know that Cajees is the problem here. I have 6 Giants at home and been supporting the brand for more than a decade. Nothing wrong with the bikes if they are decently assembled - something Cajees knows nothing about.
  3. I ask myself that question every time when I ride the CPT, Kamannasie stage, in the rain!!
  4. Hear you, nearly ordered the Rudy's!! Will wait for the auction a little later!!!
  5. Saw a pic of the Escapade
  6. Don't worry, Google was my friend...
  7. Who are the agents in RSA?
  8. Snap.. Also had 2 in the early 80's Road and track. The road bike was branded a Peugeot, track a Hansom. Vitus tubing, both were in a gorgeous pearl pink finish. Sutour Superbe gruppo's. The fact that Gotty and I share the same surname, made it special for a school kid. Pics were taken many moons ago..
  9. The stars better turn faster than that. Like in NEXT WEEK faster!!
  10. I wish I could go for steel - so probably the Alu for me. The stars are slowly turning...
  11. Without Jessica Brodie (Morena Baccarin) Homeland is BOOOOORING :-)
  12. The leather straps looks like Afredo Binda's. I still have a set!
  13. It hops from channel to channel, but they actually do have a bit of the UCI World Cup races
  14. Watch of the day - Tissot Mechanical... Hub as background....
  15. I can concur, REALLY bright, we were in the Baviaans last December - no lights and the Luminox was super bright.
  16. I bought some Tempranillo from the Rioja region - Oooohh, excellent stuff.
  17. +1000 Wondering about red wine - bought some lovely stuff from Spain recently - the home of the tainted steaks...
  18. Hey everyone Pics posted in the ads section :-)
  19. Hey all Should probably advertise this in the ads section. I have a set of 80's tubbie wheels that I might sell GP4 rims, Campag record hubs (32 hole) with screw on type cluster. Was my set of racing wheels in 85/86 - still has the 86 tubbies on from the SA's in East London :-) Apart from cobwebs the wheels are in a perfect condition. I will replace the spokes though!
  20. My son will have the same challenge. Petrol :-)) So he can probably only go as far as Lanzerac, and then he can coast downhill later :-) BTW he's not getting the Landy to be windgat. With the trade-in they wanted to give me, it made better sense to keep it than to buy some little knoddy car.
  21. Must say.. I bought my 1st Landy - a Disco 3 with the V8 motor in 2007. I had my fair share of issues over the years, some self inflicted, but that 4.4 Jag engine still runs like a dream after 231 000km. Landys are like girls, you sometimes hate them, but you can't live without them. My son is going to inherit the Landy when he goes to Maties next year. Me thinks it's going to be a super f@nny magnet!!!
