Heart rate is not determined by your age! Don't fall for that 200-age crap. I'm 38 and my max is just over 200. That means nothing. I go out and have 'relaxed' ride and my average is around 150. Trying to ride at around 130 would bore the crap out of me! Don't worry, you won't fall over if your heart rate goes too high, you will just run out of breath and stop!!

Uhmmmm, yes they do. When you say the name Raleigh here they guys get all misty eyed and think of the glory days of Peter Post's TI-Raleigh team. Tour legends like Joop Zoetemelk and others like Jan Raas and Gerrie Kneteman won big races on the CAMPAGNOLA(!) equiped Raleighs. Unfortunately Raleigh no longer sells top end bikes in most countries (excluding SA and Ireland), so the brand is more remembered for its past glories. ...just had a phonecall from my LBS. They managed to find the weird headset bearings for my Raleigh. Very happy! Not standard stock here...

I'll second this. These are great pedals. Probably one of the only pedals on the market that can be setup for various angles. I stand to be corrected. Bought some recently and very happy. "You cant beat them" If you stand to be corrected, doesn't it affect your position on the bike? ....I'll get my coat...

I also use Look Keo's, but I am starting to get annoyed with the wear and tear. The plastic base of the pedal seems to wear excessively and mine only last a year or two before I have to replace the pedal. That's where Shimano/alu pedals are better.

Get a second hand dual suspension bike for R10k. 2/3 year old Giant Anthem would be my advice. LX/SLX components or XT if you get lucky.
