    had a teocali some years back then went to an Anthem ( racing bug bit a little ) now on the Trance. Changed back to the ALL mountain as i missed just Bombing anything ....so far its been totally flippin awesome

    so after a little research i see it weighs 12.75 so about 600 grams lighter than a trance.

    I think one more person who deserves a mention is Tim Keep who was there as Nedene,s tech/coach but also rode the Masters and came 33rd....on a 29er SINGLE SPEED..

    Three bikes im looking at for my wife are all hard tail pretty much entry level but good enough are Giant tempt Titan calypso and mabey trek cali but as the first 2 are 27.5 i think they might be better suited as she not so keen on the 29er of trek

    So it seems i have made a decent repair using the Floss and patch method, i am just going to run a tube for first ride or 2 just to make sure the stiching holds.

    definately not just throwing it away ( and anyway as far as i know Crossmark don,t come in a 27.5 x 2.25 ) will definately be doing a repair job. Also just checked out a video on Pinbike where the guy uses a part of an old tire and plenty of glue as he says that sometimes normal patches can stretch and stick out the Hole. I like that Floss idea, i also got a "BOOT" from local LBS but i think they work more with Tubes.

    yep it's to big ( funny L shape ) for a plug i think so i thought the patch on the inside would be the deal. Thanks for the advice will give it a go tonight

    So this weekend i got a cut in my brand new Nobbly Nic. To big for the Stans to work but i hope to repair it . So it's on top of the tire ( not sidewall ) and is sort of an L shape. Can someone advise me the best way to repair it so i can save the tire and remain tubeless

    Anyone come across these guys before MAHOXO MULTI TRADING or AL JO TRADERS 5 Kiaat St, Phalaborwa 1390 ‎Limpopo I saw an advert with them selling Giant Trance & Anthem NEW 2014 and 2013 models at R 10 000.00 Obviously this is very fishy because of the price

    I just sold my Anthem and purchased the Trance ( not the advanced ) and i was a bit worried about the climbing ability of the Trance as my last 140mm all mountain ( mongoose ) didnt climb well. All i can say is im over the moon with the bike..climbing is no problem and when you point it downhill you just feel super confident and dont have to scan for the less hairy route as i did on the Anthem. Its obviously the better comps on the Trance adv that make the price difference because on the Alu model it,s actually cheaper than the Anthem.
