  1. Agree with people above this was a fantastic event. enough climbing to keep you honest and the Single track was just insane, it flowed and had enough techy rock garden parts to keep you on your toes. A nice bonus was a decent goodie bag. well done to the organizers.
  2. a very trusted source , but alas i couldnt wait any longer ....i jumped ship to a Spaz Carbon Stumpjumper that i scored a crazy deal on
  3. Sooo whats the bottom line on that machine ??
  4. must say i was riding with a friend on Sunday who has the exact bike tested here and it is very nice in the flesh...Ticks all the boxes for a do it all machine. i think if you ditched the wheels for for some Wide lightning's or the like then it would be smoking
  5. ya but the Sido is an XC bike ..whereas the scott is more Trail ...slacker head angle..dropper post etc
  6. why on a nearly 50k bike do they not have a sealed bearing system.
  7. one question are the Hubs on that Scott ( Shimano HB-M618-B CL / 15x110mm ) is that a Cup&Cone system or sealed bearing ??
  8. I heard just recently that the New Anthem 29er which will apparently be arriving in March or so 2017 will have exactly the same layout / geometry and specs as the new Anthem 27.5 has. ie slacker head angle..120mm suspension ..Trunion mount etc etc.... im waiting in anticipation
  9. i hear what you are saying, but there are also new Geometry changes on both of them as well so its not just swopping bike for bike..theres newer technology to be had
  10. i was exactly same changed from 26er Anthem to Trance...but now might consider going back to New Anthem ...proof is in the Riding i suppose.
  11. was just checking specs and there is only 1deg diff in headset angle between them. and the Anthem SX comes with 130mm front....
  12. ya i have a Trance and kinda agree, but i also had an anthem before but with only 100mm so with 120mm it could be interesting....i would like to check out there new Carbon rims
  13. hmmmm now with Anthem having 120mm up front it will make the decision a little harder between Trance & Anthem ...which one will be the GoTo ride all day bike ??
  14. i asked as well, and apparently NOT
  15. and the New Neo has an even faster engagement than the Hope. i see bearings are only 2mm smaller than the Hope4,s ...wonder if they will be noisy or quiet
  16. hmm that new Neo Ultimate hub with 6pawl 72point engagement looks very interesting
  17. im hopeing that Nsquared brings in The Morsa G+ All mountain ...looks very appealing for the front
  18. im running a NN up front and the new Mezcal G+ on rear. Have to say im impressed with the mezcal, it holds a line well and has plenty grip bur still rolls well. obviously the durability still needs to be confirmed but so far its looking good.
  19. would like to hear Louis actuall comments about the Tyres ??? Admin
  20. I bought a Mezcal G+ for my Trance and running it on the rear and have to say so far im impressed. Definately seems to have more grip than the Saguaro i was running and its also a bit wider. Rolls really well and hopefully it will be durable. Im tempted to give it a try on the front to see how it handles, presently runnning a NNic on front.
  21. you talking about the Mezcal G+ ??? have you tested them Looks like i have no choice now as my Saguaro that has a nasty cut ( which i have plugged with CAR plugs ) has given up again.. So New Mezcal G+ here we go
  22. ya im real keen to try one... but @ R 1150 ... phew
  23. has anyone tried at the new Vittoria Mezcal yet ??
