The highs and lows of sport have never been so close for me- winning a world title last week and being sidelined for the season the next.   8. There are quite a few hilly triathlons out there, Triathlon Alpe d'Huez, IM Lanzarote, IM Wales, Norseman etc I think IM Germany's bike course has about 3000m worth of elevation gain if I'm not mistaken.
  9. I have the same goggles, photochromic and very comfortable and no misting-up problems but I do put a drop of baby shampoo in them every now and again.

  14. I do 9 to 11 workouts per week with 3 swims, 3 cycles, 3 or 4 runs and a strength workout. Most people build up to about 17-18 hours of training per week.

  16. Germiston lake is not my favourite but I prefer it to Bela Bela - Im doing both of them again this year Last years IM 5150 Germiston was very well organised. One lap swim and the bike and run is flat and fast.

  19. Cool video, you can achieve whatever you want if I work hard enough.
  20. Everybody is different, there are so many variables. If you are going to invest the time get a coach and do it right from the beginning.
