it should read both avnic told them to send it in they could have followed up on the unit too !!! If it was my company that is what I would have done !!! Go the extra mile i say customer satisfaction and I have always gone the extra mile for my customers and that is why i am in the postion i am in today
i would say it is a bit of both !!! avnic should have insisted that the unit be sent in immediatley when they knew it was faulty . like have the unit numer be put on the pc to say its faulty and has not come in for repairs and a bit of follow up work from their side would ensure that the customer gets his unit back asap. and Sportsman's for not sending the unit in and being so slack with it. really i could have had it couriered on monday if they did not have enough money to do it . we are far to complacent today and bugger the customer we have his money so why give him good service ???? i am totally die "nut" in !!!!!!
I would like to express my disgust at the poor service that i have got form the Sportsmans warehouse in west coast village!!!! my sound on my garmin was very soft and sometimes in audible so on saturday the 23 august i took it in to the Sportsman's warehouse which is 120km from home !!!! I saw the guy Lenox from whom i had purchased the unit from 13 months ago (13 july 2007) and explained what was wrong with the unit. He told me dont worry they would contact the rep first thing monday morning and get a answer on what to do with the unit. ok so i get to give it in with a ticket given to me 123900 dated 23 august 2008 and the contact person Chandre tel 0215545233 !!!! so after my little trip on the west coast i had to go back to town so i thought a simple thing like the faulty sound they could have sorted out and i could go and collect. i phoned and the lady (chandre )said that had contacted the rep and he said it must be sent in for repairs.this was wednesday afternoon. I have just got off the phone from them and the have still not sent in the unit for repairs!!!! now is this K@k service or what i was thinking of upgrading to the 705 in a few months time but with service like this i dont know if i should get another garmin it stinks !!!! any suggestions ??? yea batgirl you 100% right when they leave politics outta sport and pay more attention to the needs of the athletes then things might go better but until then i am afraid we will always be scraping the bottom of the barrel
who is gonna keep tack of how may tubes they have used in two years ??? too many to remember really trival but for what he did was a experince of a lifetime and it nearly cost him his life !!! excellent book and was well worth the read

cost was so r3000 en my bar bill was net so oor die r200 rand . verder was alles supplied breakfast lunch supper snacks ,coffee,tea ,energade, chocolates,energy bars,(jungle oats bars coated in dark chocolate) i am hooked on them !!!
dit was dieselfde toer wat in die ride mag was maar jy moet dit doen om dit te experience !!! fotos kan net soveel se dit is n belevenis en vir ek wat al 10 jaar op die weskus bly het nie eers geweet van al die plekkies nie ek gaan sweetie bietjie berge toe vat dit is awesome en net 70 km van Saldanha amper op my voorstoep !!!

Allan Cotton of live2ridedotcodotza went out of his way to make us all comfortable and have a Mtb experince to remember

one thing I am truly gratefull for was the loan of a saddle XO selle italia trans am and my Vermarc bibs !!!! the others with us on the tour were not so fortunate as me and had a few sore places average about 5hrs in the saddle every day nice and easy just enjoying the scenery !!!

just my opinion but i bought it before i joined the hub . In my case i wasted 2k on a product that made me really pissed off .
you have the advantage of being to get an opinion here on the hub !!!
