What is the availability of these bearings ??? I think mine are tired as yesterday and speed over 35kmph and the wheels were screaming like stuffed pigs the hubbers riding with me got such a skrik they almost came off their bikes why I ask is would i be able to source them in CT and where would i get them. I know our local LBS would not stock them but i would like to speed up the process and get them couried to me and have them put the new ones in. Any suggestions ????

hey Pocketbikes thanks its nothing there is so much support and all the guys that helped and offered parts i could have built a spare bike too. I am not that good when it comes to bike building so we went the route of bying a good secondhand one and boy oh boy is the lady happy hse put a pice in our local newspaper too . I need to get her to do some short rides with me but we will work on it. As I posted earlier the cool weather might be putting her off and she does not feel so hot every day. Hi Dick its going very slowly she is only doing about 15km on a ride max. i tried to get her to do the 46 km mykonos ride two weeks ago but she was not up to it . she was attacked by seven dogs on a farm when she went to visit her brother and she had some nasty bites on her leg so she did not want to ride. as soon as we do a ride together i will take a few pics and post them. She is still keen for the Argus and with the chilli afternoons i dont think she wants to ride when i get home from work at 5pm. she goes out with a friend of hers in the mornings about 9am and that is when i am working i will keep you guys updated

not nice at all take a few bars of brooklax in your back poket next time and throw some around . even better if you can get hold of some jimal and roast it then put it into a energy drink leave the bottle for them. believe you me they will sh*t themselves big time they will think they are dying its wicked stuff and they will think again about trying to rob us poor cyclists. yes safer in numbers i am afraid

oh yes forgot to mention the 305 comes with software called map source . Its pc based and has a map of sa streets and say you are looking for a certain address you have the ability to search for the street name in the database. once you have found it you can then create a gpx file and download that to the unit and use it to navigate by means of waypoints. the garmin dont talk to you like the other fancy units but just beeps when you are approaching the waypoint and indicates in which direction you should go. so it can also be used off the bike if needed so i would say its quite a useful little "rusk"

I have the 305 edge and have had some dealings with the 725 polar. im my opinion the edge is far more user friendly with regards to downloading and accessing data and has more on screen display you have at least 6 displays at a time and you can choose whatever you want. weight wise i have never weighed the two so could not answer that as for size the 305 is not much bigger that the polar just find the polar alot more mind boggelling and that is my opinion mind you
