Brilliant qualifying. Really exciting seeing drivers pushed to the limit as they stride down the pit lane to be weighed. Bahrain typifies all that is wrong in F1. No place for spectators out on the track. No cars on the track. But Bernie still gets his money.

Calling T20 cricket is a bit like saying rugby union and rugby league are the same sport. All they have in common is the equipment used and the pitch they play on.

No bowlers, just use a bowling machine 2. All runs scored on the leg side using an ugly baseball slog count half 3. Batsmen who score two consecutive boundaries using this ugly baseball shot are to be roasted on the pitch side flames. 4. Batsmen caught in the crowd are out. 5. Boundaries scored by classical cover drives are rewarded by a free hit 6. Any batsmen wondering around his crease before the ball is bowled is to have his feet nailed to the floor. I'm just a grumpy old fart who just likes watching real Test cricket.

Now the new qualifying farce has been put on hold until new software is developed. What are they going to do? Have a large flashing sign on the eliminated drivers steering wheel that says "Game Over"

I see complete chaos with the completion of a lap versus the elimination of a driver. Why 90 seconds? Last year only 9 of the 19 races had a lap time under 90 seconds. Rather make it 3 minutes and eliminate 2 drivers. That will reduce the congestion of drivers trying to complete their lap before the cut off.
