  1. oh dear, someone has had surgery ... http://www.thisisf1.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/02/Briatore-changes-face-with-plastic-surgery-430x215.jpg
  2. Don't forget the great John Arlott: On England's 1948–9 tour to South Africa, the England captain George Mann was bowled by his namesake Tufty Mann. Arlott memorably described it as "a case of Mann's inhumanity to Mann"
  3. Kirsten was warned twice during the innings
  4. Has anyone seen any video of the WI vs ZIM match. Last man out was run out by the bowler. Looks like the bowler made no attempt to bowl the ball and the batsman was out of his crease following up. A few years ago I would of looked at this as bad sportsmanship, but in today's world of bowlers being no balled for a millimetre over the line why should batsmen be treated any differently.
  5. oh dear S Africa U19 136/9 v Namibia U19s 137/8 (39.4/50 ov) Namibia U19s won by 2 wickets (with 62 balls remaining)

  10. Vilas has arrived. Just as well there was no batting collapse.
  11. Looks like the Venezuelan oil money has dried up
  12. We need to put our cricketers in cotton wool. QdeK is now ruled out of the Test Slipped at home and sprained his knee. Looks like AB has to keep if England bat first as Vilas will still be on a plane.
  13. When it floods don't bother with a 4X4. Drive a Lamborghini instead. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-3389221/Lamborghini-driver-takes-El-Nino-nearly-gets-totally-submerged-floodwater-San-Diego-road.html
  14. Just as well this isn't a timeless test. If it was they would still be batting next year. I see some youngster in India has just scored 1000 runs in a innings. I feel sorry for the bowlers. http://www.ibnlive.com/cricketnext/news/pranav-dhanawade-becomes-first-man-in-cricket-to-score-1000-runs-in-an-innings-1185554.html
  15. I remember as a kid growing up in the 60's. We just got a tub of bricks and built from there. No fancy cranes, bulldozers and cars.
  16. Oh dear. Another woeful team performance. I wonder if the selectors will be brave enough and have a complete clean out of the team. It can't get any worse. My selection for the next test (using the selectors quota system) 1. Elgar 2. Cook 3. Rossouw 4. De Villiers 5. Amla 6. De Kock 7. Bavuma 8. Abbott 9. Piedt 10 Rabada 11. Morkel

  19. I would like to show you what our GSD is doing in the garden, but I'll leave it up to your imagination. A few days ago my wife was wrapping up crayons and colouring books for a charity she is working with. Our young GSD though this looked like fun and munched 5 packets of crayons. Lets just say that the back garden is looking very colourful, and it's not from the flowers.
  20. come on guys. Look on the bright side We avoided the follow-on
