AFIK you can start in any group lower than yours but not higher than yours. I started in the CTCT and the 99er in a lower group than mine. So , no proplem.

I think it would be to late to be reseeded but I stand corrected.

You never know, we might be moving to level 1 soon.

No shame starting in 8. I also started in the last group and worked my way up by entering sportives, etc.

Level 2 might be on the cards before the CTC T starts.

Also enjoyed the race. It was a nice experience riding in the rain again. The last time I rode in the rain was the SCT in 2017. Salute to the organizers.
