  1. I think it is time that the licensed riders each start in their own groups. Why do the Ladies & Vets always have to start together. This is a recipe for desaster, proven once again by yesterdays crash in the finishing sprint. When 3 different categories sprint at once! With other races when one category group passes another, nobody is allowed to fall in with the passing group. Why oh why are these other categories always put together??? I'm told that the ladies need faster finishing times, so they can qualify for races overseas, that is why they ride with the men's groups. If this is the case, I don't understand it, because if they cannot qualify for the faster times on their own here, how on earth will they then do it on their own somewhere else?
  6. Witrot, David#7 is right, I've spoken to CSA and was told in so many words that the elites don't have to use timing chips. I find it very unfair, because that's why we had to (for example) postpone and wait for the prize giving to start at the Bakwena race, many of the elites did not use their chips and the officials had a hard time to figure out who finished where!
  7. maybe I am the freak of nature I always feared that i was. I have seen my fitness and endurance pick up in leaps and bounds as my running training increases - maybe its the weight that i have shed that has helped as well. But I really need to sharpen the bike skills more, maybe Prozac or one of those will relax me more and allow for higher speeds with the bunches O genade dan is ek ook 'n freak!!!
  8. Nee nooit sammajoor, waar sal ek en tweety nou ooit teen jou 'op-gang'? Ons is mos nie so nie.http://www.smileyzone.eu/smilies/faces/anghalo.gif http://www.smileyzone.eu/smilies/faces/anghalo.gif http://www.smileyzone.eu/smilies/faces/anghalo.gif http://www.smileyzone.eu/smilies/faces/anghalo.gif http://www.smileyzone.eu/smilies/faces/anghalo.gif http://www.smileyzone.eu/smilies/faces/anghalo.gif
  9. Jy sien nou' date=' jou naam is nie verniet 'backup rider' nie!!! [/quote'] cause i always ride at the back.
