Hi All,

 

just putting this question out there, as I am clueless on the branded cycling gear.

 

What should or must one do to get branded cycling gear?

 

I see a lot of cyclists with branded clothing and was wondering if you get those in your LBS for sale or should those specific company sponsor you?

 

It always looks nicer to have those branded clothing than the "sport shops" clothing...

 

Any feedback will be appreciated....good or bad.

Hi Hayley,

 

we have been there last Saturday.

 

Lots of parking available and we did not have any issues, so the security is "good".

 

Awesome riding form 7k's to 30k's....

 

Really this is an awesome experience and good training as well for Magalies Monster etc

 

Go check it out...please just observe the downhills as the rain eroded some roads....ask me...I had a little fall myself but luckily not to bad

go out and try Hakahana trails. What a brilliant gathering place and what awesome rides, with awesome views of the mountain range.

 

Friendly reception, good advise and just a pleasure to be there.

 

Keep up the good work there and lets stand together and keep the trails going.

My feet starts to burn when I stand up pedalling. Normally on the outside of my feet.

 

Does anybody have the same problem?

Went out to Akwaaba Lodge last night for a group ride.

 

What an awesome idea and what awesome riding place.

 

Starting of at the Lodge, between the Lions and Tiger cages....

 

The route was excellent and the riders all happy and cheerful.

 

Please reply or send me a PM if there is any of those guys on the HUB who rode last night.

 

Let us do that again.

Got the 1800 lumens and cars coming from the front actually "brights" me....and when I pass them they almost break their necks....

Not to expensive.

 

Saw one's for about R550.00. Cyclo and Sigma products.

 

Will this be sufficient enough? Just want to use it for MTBing.

 

Also in the process of stopping smoking.....2014 must be a good year for me.

 

What is your suggestions on the HRM?

It is a new year and I'm looking for some good advice on getting back in the saddle, to get fit and of course to loose some weight.

 

Can anybody out there issue me with some advice? Maybe training programs or diets?

Looking for DVD's about SA trails, crashes etc. Maybe something like Nitro Circus as well.

[Rustenburg Riding Places]

Went for a ride yesterday with my brother in law...it was chilly and the sun was going down very fast. Not very keen on going the off road route as I heard that lately a lot of guys are getting robbed doing off road.

So if there is any Rtb guys out there....please notify me of any decent riding places in Rtb.

 

Just ordered my 2K bike light today...cant wait for it to arrive.
