  6. See you talking about me again.... You are right, we only ride for the downhills, that's our thing. We have done the XC racing thing etc etc, but we love the technical long downhills and over the last year that is all we focused on. The e-bike just makes this love for the type of riding we do even bigger. A great example is the downhill from the mast at Contermans to the bottom. Before we could do 2 of them in a morning at great effort and on the second time you go down you are so tired you dont enjoy the downhill. Now we can go do it 4 times in a row and still enjoy each run.

  10. Can anyone recommend specific trails around the Sedgefield and Knysna area? We do more enduro type riding so climbing is only a means to get there, we looking for the more technical downhills (double black, black and red etc) Any info would be appreciated.
  11. I have printed one for you. We will obviously need to see if it will fit and what changes needs to be made. Pop me a msg and we can take it further to meet up and see what/how

  13. Sure, bring it over so I can show you how to ride it properly as well
  14. How about adding a link or 2 on the chain so the sliding dropout can move further back so you have more tyre clearance?
  15. The famous James May once said that owning a Fiat Panda was more fun than a Ferrari as he could push it to its limits and drive on the edge on any road. Ferrari you have to take to a track to achieve this.... Same is for having a slack enduro hardtail. The simplest trails become crazy fast when you ride it and your line choices and other choices of direction has to be on point. Dual sus you can get away with a lot more mistakes. I own both and I can tell you that the times I ride my hardtail I think I am going stupid fast and I must have a PB on Strava only to be disappointed to see that it wasn't. It puts the fun back in to the simple trails on your local network.
  16. No one going to say anything about the 14m extra gear cable sticking out of the chainstay??? you can almost double loop that thing Or the fact that you will need a special tool once again to remove the crankset?
