Join us at Northern Farm - we cater for all levels - some of us belong to Club 100 but that is your choice.

MTN Club 100 was the most helpful for me in this regard - Angie at the office is VERY helpful

I think that the GT Avalanche is good value for money and a great frame with good components in the price range. Remember you need a Helmet for your PIP.

Only in the local MTB parks - where I know it is quite safe - but always let someone know whera nd when I will be home - so if I do fall and do not return they will hopefully come looking ...

I am riding at Northern Farm from 08:00 tomorrow - will do about 35-45 km at an average of about 17km per hr if you want to join us - meet at coffee shop - look for landrover with Rescue on it. Ian

As a paramedic I can show them what a 5km an hour ride can do to a head - if they want - the organisers should not be supported in future events they do - why one set of rules for Riders and one for quads - I do not see anywherein teh rules that it says "No Helnmet No Ride" (only for Mountain bikers - quads excluded) - you should send a complain to the cycling authorisies and also a mailt o the local bike magazines. Expose the morons!!

Hey sorry - to hear - this is why I am thinking of getting a group together - see https://www.bikehub.co.za/forum_posts.asp?TID=81814 - They we can all ride at same pace to Nothern Farm and ride back after we do Nothern Farm at our own pace - and if group big enough could even break into a fast and slow group. I think a small group f 1-5 would not put them off but a bigger one just might. Have you guys seen this - www.nbrza.co.za- a step in the right direction - not perfect but heading somewhere

ye - saw that - actually drove past them in my car but they had assistance already - want to get a good size group together so it is not just 3 riders but a few of us - but no matter how big the groupp is if they have guns they can have my bike ..... thank god for insurance

Wilgeheuwel is a bt far but we could either meet up at Broadacres or you could leave your car at my place - I have space as it is a plot.

I am looking for people who would be interested in riding with me from Broardacres / Fourways / Chartwel area to Nothern Farm on a regular basis and back again after doing ride around Nothern Farm. Gerenrally Saturday and Sunday mornings strating around 06:00ish Need to get more KM's in and there is saftey in numbers.
