  7. We will definitely add more ladys' cuts and designs in the near future. In the mean time, the 'X-Riders' shirt sits very nicely on both ladies and gents, and we also have a design specifically for ladies. Take a look a the 'Ben is Zen' design on the website. The replacement photo is not yet available. As soon as I get it, I will add it to this thread.
  8. Yes, sure: The shirts are fitted, i.e. meant to "hug" the body.

  16. Did you pick up a pair of lungs? I lost mine quite early in the race...
  17. +1 !!! I didn't stay long because I didn't really know anyone. Would probably have stayed longer if I had a team mate there. Having said that, not having to ride with a partner was an easier ride for me. I didn't have to keep someone waiting nor had to wait for someone anywhere. But then this argument can go both ways. At all partner events people are asking for solo entries and at solo events people are asking for partner-entries. Maybe have different classes where the participant has the option of either. My two cents: Don't wait for the 'prize giving' to get the vibe going. The 'fines' could have started waaaay earlier (and I agree it doesn't HAVE to have to be alcohol based). For me the prize giving was too late - I wanted to stay and win that Trek bike, but family duties called.
  18. Any idea when and where the final results will be posted? I loved it. Would have been disapointed if stage 1 was wasn't tough. For an unseeded event it really didn't feel like 500 on the trail ...maybe I just got lucky. The only other Gauteng race that got me cramping was The Magalies Monster Well done to the organisers. Was a great event.
  19. I ride with bananas only. My mouth gets way to dry to eat any bar (tried a couple).
  20. My new bike came with X0 shifters and no indicators. I have always relied heavily on them, but adjusting to quickly glance down at my casette actually came quite easy. Right now I don't miss them at all.
  21. I know nothing of road cycling. I do know I love mountainbiking. No strike at roadies intended.
  22. Did the marathon at Sabie today and got a MF of a technical at the 3km mark. Almost everyone riding past asked if I needed assistance. We all suffered right through the course, but still joked till the end. I didn't see any papers, bombs, sachets, tubes, etc littered on the course.
  23. Finished the 75km earlier... damn, that was tough and HOT. Was hoping for a sub-5 hours, but came in at over 6. Never gets easy, does it?
