Donkey waited in town for peeps, but noone arrived! the rain is now gone, and it would have been perfect to do. next week, i will diarise, and hope there is no rain!

Great pics as always Ronelle. The racing was tough today, as there weren't too many +1's today! I got boxed in in my sprint, so was pretty pee'd off, but hey that's racing I guess! Guys just remember that the ladies are still sprinting for their race so please don't get in our way!!!

The weather was brilliant tonight, made for a real fast eve...

Stop getting in the way of cars!! Taxi's are generally a$$holes. I commute over Kloof, and if I see a taxi, I wait - cause they don't care. I also shout to make myself known, often feel like and idiot doing it, but I'm still on my bike!

I'll take my iPod with on a race, so that when i get dropped, I have something to help me survive the rest of the race. But I've never used it!!! Generally I have it while training or commuting, but only have one earpiece in so i can hear the cars and other cyclists!!!

I'm in. We all just pitch up for a ride - so what if there are hundreds of us - we're just going for a cycle!

That's Paul. Always on the road, and sometimes with a helmet. Nice guy, harmless. Would be sad if hi bike was stolen. Then again, maybe he gave it to his son or something??

I've been riding for 7 years, never on a WSD, but through curisity i checked them out. I think if you are short (in guys terms) and a Small is still too big for you, then look at the women's bikes. shorter cranks, top tube, and diff geometry. So possibly beneficialy if you are tiny. I am 1.70m tall, no point in looking woman's secifc!! They are generally prettier (in girls terms!) I investigated the Felt woman's specific (advertised in the February - I think - Bicycling mag) and they haven't even gone into production because there was not a great enough demand at the time.

I've also been dealing with Revolution Cycles lately (close to home) in Cape Town - near Bowman's. not huge product range, but great for servicing. and great general service!

I have had really good service from Cycle Factory, Montague Gardens and very bad service (bike services) from some local Southern Suburb bike shops. I would say it all depends on what your needs are. product wise - look around for price bike service wise, go where there are good referals.
