  1. Get it checked out first, I got caught out, not saying you will. Its the prep work that takes all the time, easy & cheap for the bike just off the production line.
  2. Thats very cheap for the re-spray, only one colour then? My fork cost R400 to re-spray.
  3. Go check out the Cash Convertors in your area, and the second hand shops( first post of call being NielsWheels)
  4. I tried to reverse at first, and was still in 2nd and almost "charged" the bloody elephant. It was my Ozzie wifes first time in a game park and she crapped herself and was screaming hysterically, not sure if it made things worse. I was bricking it myself.
  5. I've had the same thing, and you get scared stiff. Didn't know what to do and the more I tried to edge the big fella moved in my direction, lucky for us the just touched the car and moved on. Ive had the same with an unhappy Rhino, you get frozen to the spot.
  6. The Ring - http://youtu.be/I-7Byi6C78w
  7. The OP did this, and he never named the shop.
  8. Some how I don't think it was, but i could be wrong and stand to be corrected
  9. Nothing wrong with SLX, but he paid for XT - Thats what he should have got, there is no if or buts on this - the bike is speced as FULL XT. I would be pissed as well. The bike should have checked before hand by the shop. I dont understand your stance on what he spent on his sons bike, why is that even an issue. Why should the son expect to get the same as his dad? The OP also never mentioned a shop name, other did.
  10. Phew, I would love this privlage, but why not just buy the better bike now? We all know you will fall in love with MTBing, if you have'nt already?
  11. I just re-read the whole story to see if he made a change, doh.
  12. Just to highlight he has spent a lot of money with them and was not expecting this to happen probably If you can get your money back and go spend elsewhere, I would.
  13. Ok cool, thanks for that. The sessions last for half an hour? Do you use the trainer more for technique of the various exercises or more for the motivation?
  14. What does it cost for the services of a personal trainer, I undertsand the prices will vary, but what could I potentially be looking at per session( R150?) Just looking to do it for a couple of weeks till I get the hang of everything and can manage on my own ( I train at Virgin Active)
  15. Leg Curls, Leg Extensions, calf raises, leg press, squats(best I would say) and lunges - All high rep, low weights. Dont forget Core strength training.
  16. Any updates to this idea yet?
  17. Great work to everyone involved, Track Squad on the case
  18. HuH If there was a scratch my head emotion I would use it.
  19. Yes please, and an Engineering thread
  20. Plus 1 at the Pavillion and another opening shortly at The Westville Mall - 8 shops within a 20min drive of each other, does seem crazy that they can all be making money.
  21. I see that they can now move over into the proper new store over at the new shopping mall, they got the green light last week. Howz the shop doing in Waterfall? Anyone know
