  1. Maybe a support group need to be set up for victims of bike hijacking - with more and more cases it could help. This is the third hijacking case Ive read on the Hub where people are now terrified to go out again.
  2. I used to run front, downtube and a rear mudguard(kinda looked like a skinny motor bike) while commuting. I took it for my first ride at Giba ever and was laughed at by my mates and have not put them back on again.
  3. Shut down the Hub, no advice or questions are allowed to be asked from this day forth.
  4. That I want a complete bike for R14 000 as shown in the advert. I've taken a screen shot so they cant go change it now
  5. Yeah, misleading ad though. I was thinking R14 000 for a complete bike was to good to be true, just for the frame that is. Where is that new credit act?
  6. Damn advert is very misleading, Hence why I wann see it again.
  7. Thanks for that Is there not a way to be able too acess them quicker? If not, its all good.
  8. Just saw a banner ad advertising a new Morewood Zula on sale for R14 000, how do I find this banner ad again?
  9. You sure it was'nt the Hippo that you saw catching the eagle
  10. You wake up late, loose your money and go to jail fro defacing US currency - What a wake up call
  11. Bwah ha ha ha Peak physical condition.
  12. I think the price might be in the region of about R2500 for the unit, but as you say it needs to be way cheaper to be succesfull, and the possible monthly subscription also a cheap amout, I would say even R25. From what I understand its a once off payment on some of these units. Im sure the insurance companies would welcome such a thing.
  13. Uluru ? Did you manage to climb it, cause they have stopped people doing that now
  14. If it did it would explain a lot . Have you seen Up - Lightning in action?
  15. Thats not for real is it, if so it could be up-lightning
  16. You can get those alarm clocks that when they go off they bounce around the room, and only stops when you eventually catch the thing and turn it off. http://www.youtube.c...h?v=GR-ro-k6ycw There is also this thing, http://www.yankodesign.com/2005/12/11/blowfly-flying-alarm-clock-by-ena-macana/
  17. They are tad expensive, but they will last a very, very long time, Ive had mine for 5 years already and besides the small hole from a wipeout oin the tar, they are still as good as the day I bought them. Trust me you WILL NOT feel the cold, I cycled in snow storms in them and didnt bat an eyelid. Coolheat are the distributers for Pearl Izumi, I did look last night at the coolheat website, but they did not show them. So maybe an overseas order might be a good idea Another great brand is Altura, but don't think anyone does there stuff here. They are cold weather cycling gear specialists.
  18. I used a apir of Pearl Izumi AMFib tights when I used to commute in the UK, I used to ride these at temps of about -5 deg. So warm and toasty with neoprene is specific place, thighs, over the knees - Place that take direct wind. I swear by them, did not feel the cold at all. http://www.pearlizumi.com/publish/content/pi_2010/us/en/index/products/men/ride/apparel/0.-productCode-11111032.html
  19. There is a 2009 FSR Comp Stumpjumper going for a great price - 8K with the price negotiable, not sure if its exactly what you're looking for but looks a great deal.
  20. Do they do the Altura range of clothing in SA - There winter jackets are the bomb http://www.zyro.co.uk/brands/ALTURA/ALTURA.aspx
