  1. I've only just reached gold this year, so best I do it for next year. Does only reaching Gold now, mean I still only have to do Gold for another two years to get to Diamond?
  2. To just to confirm, will all my points disappear and I start from zero next year?
  3. What did that cost you? Not done the diabetes test, So just to confirm, will all my points disappear and I start from zero next year should I rather wait till next year if that's the case?
  4. They said the 27th Nov in another thread.

  6. I read about this today online. I'm currently running Shimano shifters and rear derailleur and crankset. The crank has not done much mileage, unfortunately everything on my bike is still fairly new. So kind of stuck between a rock and hard place at the moment. Any other suggestions, I'm gonna take it into Cycle Factory tomorrow and see if they can tell me what is happening, my fork is also due a service, doh, and funds are tight at the moment for bike parts as I just got myself a road bike and new wheels.
  7. This is flipping hilarious http://www.liveleak....=924_1384065004

Amazing store in Fourways, I visited the weekend of the 94.7 and it was heaving with people, loads of stock and the staff were knowledgeable and friendly. I popped over to the workshop and got a personalised tour from Johan Bornmen, the workshop area is immaculate, a looks like something you would find at a Mercedes dealer, each mechanic has there own station, and there were about 8 of them.
  9. Seems to have affected you spelling ability as well
  10. Absolutely brilliant, still one of the best dance albums ever recorded.
  11. I had two of the best mechanics in the country build my bike for me, I can't believe that they would have got the chain length wrong for some reason, the springs in the deraileur seem fine as well. This is hell of a confusing as its something that's only recently developed over the last three or so weeks. I've not wiped out or had a crash, but the chain seems to flap about more then it should. Is there a way of knowing or finding out the correct chain length for a specific bike?
  12. My gears are changing fine, the chain as mentioned was fitted by my bike mechanic. Seems strange that this is happening all of a sudden Nothing seems to look out the ordinary either.
  13. Hi All, For some reason my chain seems to be slapping a lot more now then it normally ever has, I'm not sure if it's the trails I'm riding or it might be something else. Not sure what to try, as I'm in the right gear and it still seems to be doing it. My chain should be the right length as it was installed by the bike shop when I had my bike built up, so I can't think that I might have one link to many. What solutions are there? I'm running a 3x9 setup and it is really starting to get on my goat. Will a better derailleur work or should I get a chain tensioner or something else?
  14. Best you take her for a nice meal, get some flowers and an expensive present. We had a few mechanicals out on the trail today at Hoogekraal, and low and behold Willie Engelbrecht sorted us out, what an awesome bloke.
  15. My calves are eina today, can barely walk up the stairs Supposed to be taking a mate for his first MTB today at Hoogekraal.
  16. What did that cost you through a registered pharmacy - I did it all at the Virgin active gym, which was R400
  17. Does a woodchuck really chuck wood?
  18. You can also log daily rides if they are more then 30mins. If you go to gym as well I think one takes preference over the other, not 100% sure on this though. I loaded all my rides from the past year and got a huge wack of points two days ago You do that through LivingVitality. PS - You need a Garmin for that though
  19. So to ask a question now, do most roadies set up tubeless tyres? It probably would not have helped this morning as the nail was massive that caused the puncture, just in case of smaller punctures. What tyres would you recommend for the tubeless conversion, I think this back tyre of mine may need to be replaced
  20. Even on a road bike, roadies don't seem to greet. I totally understand people not wanting to, but seems roadies are ruder then most I'll always prefer riding my MTB, but during the week I'm a closet roadie.
  21. Myself included, want to know what the hype is all about
  22. That's exactly what I was thinking while running on the beach. I hope my feet are gonna be OK to ride Hoogekraal tomorrow
  23. Thanks, I was near the roundabout in Tableview so was a little bit off your route. I had a thought though maybe get petrol stations to carry some bike puncture kits.
