It's very much a part of the crank, as far as I know,and this was told to me again on Sat at my bike maintenance course that it is a "safety" feature to stop the crank from falling off

Grease it up, I've also got hope hubs, it reduces the sound but doesn't completely make it go away. Repeat process and actually it does get quieter as the hubs are ridden more. This advice was given to me by another riding mate with hope hubs.

Check the cranks, grease them up and problem should be solved

I see you took the time to do some reading then? For some really light hearted reading, Google Agent Orange These same people, Monsanto, are controlling the worlds seed supplies, which are GMO's. The same company that is putting thousands of farmers out of business, by the control over seeds. Occupy the Food, Occupy the people.

I'm not saying that you can't like it, but be aware what's in it, as well as all the foods you consume. Future Life is definitely GMO, not maybe. If we keep it up at the rate we are going in 100 years there will be no more anything.

While you at it read about Bill Gates and Obamas relationship with Monsanto. Also read about Bill Gates population control vaccine.

Exactly, people will always dismiss anything when uninformed or don't understand. Scary really that people are so passionate about everything but what they put into their bodies.

But at what costs? The scary thing is its not crap, its a major issue. When all the bees die then what?

Yes, probably funded by Monsanto. Then why are numerous countries burning & banning their GMO crops? Yes, its safe to eat now I've not dies yet, but after twenty years of consuming this will show otherwise.

They do use pesticides & herbicides, its in the seed already. GMO's do give cancer its been proven in tests already. The information is all over the internet, do some reading, it will enlighten you. "They" that I speak of is Doctors & Scientists.

The scary thing is that over 80% of maize in SA are from GMO seeds, this is a ticking time bomb. They say that within 3 generations that males will stop producing sperm from the amount of GMO products, not to mention GMO's are killing off bees & butterflys to epic proportions.

As are the ingredients.
