Interesting, at the Moonlight Mass in Cape Town the other night a car full of black guys shouted out, "So many white people on bicycles" Everyone had a laugh though.

Even after first hearing about it, it all still feels/sounds very surreal, like it just makes no sense.

+1, in saying that the rules of the park should apply, as others have said it could potentially have far bigger consequences if he was to fall and hit his head.

Where exactly can I ride once I become a member of the Tygerberg club? Is it all the trails listed on the website and can I ride their as often as I like? Has the situation with the boards being printed been resolved, if I sign up today how soon could I get my board?

The bike took me from Woodbridge Island to Hout Bay and back today, awesome first time around the coast on the bike, legs are feeling it now though

Why is it also not possible to get pads made locally? Surely it can't be that difficult to replicate or even do something new.

I had to replace my pads yesterday due to contamination, I new ones I got were the XTR 985 with the cooling fins(direct replacement of the original pad that I had), what are my other alternatives besides these?

I need to get my brakes checked out, I can't seem to stop them squealing, tried most of the tips suggested online, where is a good place to take them to be checked out on short notice, at the moment I'm thinking of CWC, as I might have to replace pads or heaven forbid the rotors as well. Any suggestions, I'm in the Woodbridge Island/ Paarden Island area and have my bike with me now. Many Thanks

Had a great ride this morning. Went into the city along the bike paths from Woodbridge Island, hot into the city and got a bit lost, which was all good. Tourist info couldn't give me any info on the cycle paths and Cyclelab wasn't much help either. Thought that pretty strange.Still had a good little cruise around the city and then out to Blouberg on the cycle paths and back to Woodbridge Island. Did over 40km today, which I was pretty stoked about considering I've not ridden much in the past two months. Great 1st day in Cape Town.

Well I made it safe & sound on Sunday to Cape Town, the drive was pretty hectic as it rained most of the way. All moved in, and am going for my first explore ride this morning, seems I brought the rain with me thoug, sorry about that. Excited to start work tomorrow. So any people that need anything cut or machined using a 3 axis CNC or watered cut, give me a shout. Thanks for all the welcome messages and look forward to hooking up for a proper ride soon.
