  1. Their goes my new soloist
  2. I was referring those comments he made in the line of the whole peleton is on "juice". Look at cat-i's measures to prevent motorists, surely we shouldn't be reduced to this kind of treatment nor evasive behavior, should we? Even forced to leave the road rather mtb instead, because of arrogant road users. This Bullsh*t has got to stop. And as I made the point earlier the overwhelming majority of accidents didn't happen while a cyclist was doing something illegal nor stupid nor displaying actions of neglect to his own safety.
  3. You believe in the inherent good in people? That doesn't seem to show in any of your other posts, particularly the ones on doping!?
  4. Yeah and those same laws say we may not stand and pedal wtf! I think the laws need some serious rethinking. Also who is going to ride for hours single file not. It deprives us from a social privilege. It discludes us from the right to social interaction. Yes if the traffic is heavy or the road is narrow, ride single file at all time, but in other cases where its open and safe people just won't ride singe file. Thats a FACT. Anyhow why is the whole argument about single file if all, but maybe a select few, accidents occurred when guys where riding behind each other on the left hand side. This leads me to believe accidents happen because of unaware/uninformed, negligent, drunk motorists or cyclist not visually identified.
  5. This whole argument is peeing me off! We as cyclist are regarded as "traffic" and that means we need to be recognized by traffic. Which means where entitled to the FULL LANE and cars should legally past on the opposite side of the road or the next lane. But we don't use the full lane, we keep to the left for traffic not to be congested and not to cause havoc on the roads so motorist can past, its the polite thing to do. And motorist should welcome that gesture and not accept it as a must. We are also not legally allowed to ride inside the yellow lane on the "shoulder. But we do, because again, we are polite. In think motorists should be more patient and tolerant to each other, to motorcycles and to us. If your ever been in the Gauteng traffic you would know what I mean. They should wait behind us, even if we are in singe file or not, and wait for a safe time to past, just like any other traffic. That would be the polite thing to do and I will appriciate it!
  6. They said at prizegiving afterwards that they found some cyclingcomputer and it was at "lost and found". Contact the organisers is all I can say!

  11. well if you do it on heartrate its easy..you should try to stay around your lactate threshold...which is around 90% of your max heartrate. if your fit you can keep 90% for quite a long time..the last few kilometres you can start to push it, but be shure not to blow before the line because its then when you lose most of your time..rather go too easy that go to hard if you are not shure how your body is going to react.. the best way is too train TT and learn too know your body and what heartrates you can sustain..remember when you do a TT in competition your can ride higher heartrate(up to 5-7 bpm) because of adrenline and your better focussed then.. the best way too pace your self in a TT is with a powermeter, but again you should know what power you can sustain..
  12. carbon is 10 times better
  13. its a pity the argus is no more a stage..it was the perfect climax finish

  15. I wish they had windtunnel testing on the pro's in SA, it really makes a big difference
  16. Well the bmc SLC01 is rated as best frame at the moment combining ultra-ligth weight and strengh
  17. Uiteindelik wyse woorde!!
Hy wys dat hy heel waarskynlik 'n great klimmer is.
  20. I'm not shure coz I didn't wear a chip well missed the split yesterday and front bunch today
  21. 10th or something
