  1. I was using a Cycleops Jet Fluid Pro with a speed sensor - which will shortly be up for sale. Check the list of trainer here to see what works. on the classic trainer setup I would go with a fuild trainer http://zwift.com/get-started A friend just ordered the TACX Satori Smart from CRC, which is the cheapest way to go if you don't have a trainer or sensors, which was DC Rainmakers cheapest recommendation. [but the inability to change resistance while zwifting, over time I reckon will get him to upgrade. Another good place to look is here https://www.dcrainmaker.com/2016/10/annual-winter-2016-2017-bike-smart-trainer-recommendations.html And Computer or Iphone or Ipad
  2. Kickr Snap to balance training, kids, work, family and make Zwifting alot more fun
  3. Yeah, there was about 6 to 8 of us on Zwift
  4. Polokwane game reserve. The water hole is mud pit, this time last year it looked like a lake.
  5. How to end off 2014, chilled ride through the Polokwane game reserve
  6. Came across this in the botanical gardens this morning, looks like a Xmas tree.
  7. Got my son(2 1/2) his 1st balance bike after the y bike. He hasn't put it down, riding all over.
  8. I popped Nick a msg
  9. I'm going to give them a chance to make it right, since I generally get good service from them. Going to have to wait 2 weeks since they sent the shock off
  10. Just went to pick my bike up from my lbs, had the fork serviced. The fork was super hard, hardly any travel available and the rebound knob wouldn't turn. The guys just looked dumb founded at me, had to show them on a new bike that the rebound knob turns. Here hoping they get it right.
  11. Used KMC and SLX chains on my bike, can't tell the difference.
  12. I got a fox float 32 factory shock and according to the fox site every 100 hours of riding it needs to be serviced. I have clocked up over 100 hours on it in the last 6 months, mainly riding the spruit, north farms and modders and lots of road thrown in. Do I need to service the fork as often as fox recommends based on the areas I'm riding ? How often do you service your fork ?
  13. Inside NF is safe, I generally ride it alone, early mornings tons of other riders. Late afternoon its empty but still safe.
  14. Big ups to flat29 recommending this ride, awesome ride through the bush. The White Rhino trail will give you about 20km of single track riding with tons of animals on the trail, and you can easily get another 40km of jeep track/ dirt road riding. And if you do the boarder road, a nice rocky 2km hill climb. Best part there are Rhino to see, very humbling and nerve racking to get so close to these animals with no car to protect you. The guys out here just don't know what they have.
