  4. I need the details for the service agents for DT Swiss in SA. I need a service kit for a rear shock. The details I found seems to be outdated. Can anybody assist?
  5. Hi Guys Unfortunately I'm also not getting any better, bronchitis apparently (that'a what you get for going to the dr) Knew yesterday's trip to Cape Town and all that time spent in the Aerie was not going to help. Also (IDIOT) bought new work shoes and with all the prancing around airports yesterday my heals look like I just did not get away from that rottweiler So my Entry is also up for sale, it is in the Blue group and includes a top cost me R 511, make an offer.
  6. https://community.bikehub.co.za/topic/64883-the-argus-cycle-tour-total-ascent/ Here is a thread on that.

  9. Very important to hydrate all the time and eat some solid (more solid) stuff as well like a banana and maybe a bar or two. This race takes a lot out of you and you need to replenish the stores regularly. Some good advice here, one more bit of advice is as soon as you see 80 k don't think you're home free. The last climb is the one that buries many riders that were a bit too "eager" in the earlier parts of the race My fourth hopefully an d looking forward to it. Some of the nicest scenery you will ride especially when you drop into the forest. Enjoy!!!! Hopefully I will shake my cold and be there
  10. You a dr? Cool thanks I will, yeah must say I feel less like getting sick today than yesterday...
  11. Went to pharmacy yesterday and god B12 + Complex injection still a slight cough but had my last training session this morning and felt good. Flying to Cape Town for business tomorrow and that time on the plane is normally when these things tend to get to their worst. Lets see how I feel on Friday morning, seriously hope I am fighting fit
  12. Oe e e I've got to be very careful here ..... Lets just say that I tend to carry my mountain bike over tar sections...
  13. I agree an 18 year old in good shape will be able to cream it, I think it might just have to do with with the dangers of mtb vs road and especially the fast gravel downhills at K2C. Possibly more to do with race organiser liability than anything else. I dunno, thats my personal opinion... O and please don't start another discussion (wiff pics of seriously mangled roadies) saying "how can I say that road cycling is not as dangerous as MTB" ... OK ok ok you rebels it's moerse dangerous ...
  14. Have you done K2C before?
  15. Thanks, Will see how quickly I can get to the vet ... I mean the pharmacy
  16. Arrrgggghh woke up with a scratchy throat this morning!!! Hopefully I can avert anything more serious developing and get sorted before Sunday!!

  19. What is the URL?
  20. "Drinking even small amounts of alcohol regularly increases risk for cancers ....." That's like saying: "Getting up and going outside increases your risk of being hit by a bus!!! Have a cup of cement....!!
  21. Exactly my point....reason why I asked if you okes were serious... hehehe
  22. No FD? No left trigger? Who would buy this? Are you guys serious now?? ..... just before I make an arse of myself....
  23. Cool, but yes this will definitely cause some congestion as normally you can motor through this section but now being thrown into almost single file will cause some issues. Ag wat ... have a cup of cement as I always say
  24. ASG seems to be the latest to not pay attention..... https://community.bikehub.co.za/topic/130939-12-sep-sale-rudy-project-steelium-ltd-edition-watches/ Only 1000 of these made world wide! mmmm my maths is not that great but eerrrrrrmmmm no!
  25. Don't think it will be too bad as the wind is at 270 deg so that means westerly and since we gonna be on the Eastern side of the mountains most of the time we should be ok. But then again it could change...
