How much does a bike depreciate or loose value % wise as soon as it "leaves the store"... Example: Bike value R15 000 new. If you wanted to sell it 1month later and its still brand new unridden what will the price be?

haha.... my budget does not allow that. Im just thinking its beter to get 2 x cheap ones... 1 handle bar 1 helmet. Also nice to have a spare one around for a buddy if the ride does not require to much light ..

Hi guys, Please give me your opinion/advice on the following... Im considering upgrading my wheelset. Currently I have Mavic 317 Disc, with a tubeless converstion done (Geax tyres ) on my Merida Tfs 800 hardtail (large) full slx & Reba fork. My weight = 85 kg How big off a difference will it make if I upgrade to a wheelset like SHIMANO XT currently going for R3599 at cwc. http://www.cwcycles....85-ust-wheelset or any other wheelset between R2000 - R4000?? Basically will it be worth it?? Dont want to waiste $$! Thanks for the help!
