  1. 100% Hi jack... Epic Vipa Scott Cannondale Giant
  2. Hi Nico, are you not enjoying your stumpy? Looks like you are according to your Jonkers videos
  3. So I went to Specialized 'Test the best today' @ Jonkershoek. Tested the stumpy & camber (both Sworks) .... both bikes are UNBELIEVABLE!!! Handles like a dream + Climbs really well. The dropper seat post makes a massive difference on the singletrack!
  4. Nice bike! 130mm upfront? PM me total cost please.
  5. oh ok, my bad! Cool thanks! What is the cost of the frame?
  6. Im sure the Pyga will be more capable having 120mm/130mm travel. To be fair it should be compared to the Stumpjumper. Definitely an awesome bike!
  7. Hi Lefty,I did consider the Epic.. couple of my mates are riding them & they are great! But the Epic is still a "hard" pure race bike.. Im looking for something more comfortable & relaxed but still capable of racing / not get left behind on a long climb. The Trigger being 130mm falls into a different category for me together with a Pyga & Stumpy Fsr. Will try to test them all....
  8. Jip.. I want the camber so that's what I am going to do, BUT first I need to go rob a bank
  9. no clue what they go for but the top spec will prob be roughly the same. 130mm travel is a bit to much anyways
  10. Hi Wayne, I know exactly what you mean & yes no matter what anybody says it will probably not change. I like to hear what people think though, maybe they know of a negative aspect that I am not aware off or have many positives to add. Its easy to get "tunnel vision" when making an investment like this.
  11. I'm 194cm so 27.5 is definitely out. Also the Trance will not be a good balance of trail & race in my opinion.Just to play the Trance will be awesome for sure!
  12. I was expecting my 1st reply to be.... Santa Cruz tallboy 2 ...
  13. It comes with Formula T1 S brakes
  14. no brain on the camber expert. Fox CTD front and back
  15. Hi guys, I would like to hear what you guys say about the Camber 2014 model & If there are maybe "better" options? (give reasons). Yes, all depends on riding style + where you ride. In short Jonkershoek (90% of the time) & surrounding trails in Cpt. Currently on a HT , but keen to get something more play full / comfy / easier on my lower back BUT also still "race ready" to do a couple of stage races & one day events. All the reviews I have read are very positive, but there is no review like a thehub review Price will be +- R60k for the expert ( R40k for the carbon comp) Here is a cool video Bike info & spec http://www.specializ...bon-29#features
  16. Did you also get a s-works?
  17. Can anybody please confirm if 1.) they received 2bags & 2.) what was in both? I have two of the exact same goodie bags. The oomie giving it to us also forgot to give us our first ascent bags.. Had to ask him.
  18. Besides breakfast, lunch & dinner should one take extra food with to snack on or will there be snacks available?
  19. How safe is the bike park? Do you guys think its "safe" to leave your cycling computer on the bike? Does the showers have enough hot water ?
  20. Not going to use the one they give us... not keen to check name tags until I find my bag.
  21. What did they charge you for new rubbers? Also, am I correct when I say your are allowed 1 Bag with all your stuff in (pillows, sleeping bag, clothes , drinks)
  22. Weather looks a lot better! (still some rain) Luckily yesterday & today is like 30degrees to dry up "old mud".
  23. Yip the Burger can get a few mud patches but that's childs play compared to the mud on Grabouw mountains... it is very different almost clay like.. k@k slippery & piles up nicely to your mtb haha.. (expect a 2kg heavier bike ).
