I've been running this cassette on a 2x10 setup for a while now, got one of the first ones off the line, really love it. Rarely use the small blade BUT when the legs are tired its nice to know there is a easy set on tap.
To me it's really the way to go......
Now that is music to my ears. What ratio are you running up front?

I ordered one of these General Lee adapters from Evo on Friday, got it first thing Monday morning, installed it last night, had to make some adjustments to the gears but took about 10 minutes from start to end. Gears shift well and I've got a nice range now on my 1x10 setup (11-40 / 34) will change the front ring out with a 36T at some point but I think this is as good as it gets on 1x10 and works out way cheaper than going full XX1, I'm running XX and XX1 Crankset.
Did you need to change your derraileur and what size deraileur cage do you ride with?
Giant as all manaufacturers only warranty the frame and not the components. If you read the conditions attached to the warranty you will notice that the warranty only extends to suppying the frame and that any further cost (ie shipping cost) will be for your account.
You are able to get the type 2 in either a xo or x9. X9 sleightly heavier but half the price of xo

Thinking of switching from a 2x 10 to a 1x 10. Would appreciate feedback from anyone who has done the Leonardi cluster conversion.
servicing of lefty is a bitch as service intervals are not only shorter but fewer people around that are able to do it.
Had Sid on my previous bike and it was one of the plushest forks i have ever ridden.
Is this a sign that delivery is going to be problematic too?

You cant expect to even get close to what you paid for it no matter what upgrades. Be realistic as a potential buyer can get a fairly decent new bike for 22K.
They are not conducting an enterprise in the RSA thus SARS wont require that they register. VAT are essentially imposed on all goods or services consumed in the republic and therefore you as importer will have to pay VAT on all imports. You will however be able to claim back the VAT paid if you are conducting a business and in course of business import stuff. If not you are the end consumer and have to bear the brunt of paying and supporting this great country

Unfortunately that's life, one moment you think that you have struck a bargain only to go somewhere else the next day to find the same product cheaper. On the odd occassion you do however find it to be more expensive as well and that my friend is the wheel of life

Have no fear; unlikely to run out and if you do it won't matter because you will be on the biggest downhill youve ever been

agree with Armpies; check chainlength ( I had to remove 4 links) - have not had a day's problems since fitting my X9 type 2 six months ago.
