you cant go wrong. I ended up selling my Carbon Stumpjumper with XO 2x10 cause it just sat around gathering dust cause i would only ride my GT peace 9er. now its the only bike i have and i ride it everywhere, SabieX, Nissan Marathons, and everything in between.

you'd be surprised luckly its not a popularity contest, personal taste. and for me its not about era as much as mood and environment. would suck to be narrow minded to one era.
