well said Ben ... The bike does not make the rider ... the ride makes the rider ... I have 2 spare DH bikes sitting at home from around 1999 and they are still fun to ride ... My sister in law is currently using the one to get into DH and shes loving it ... Ride what you have and have fun ... any bike can ride any trail, its just the speed at which you can ride it that varies .... but just go out and have FUN! that is all that matters

What did okes think of the Eliminator last night??? IMO it was a little boring - whoever got out of the first woods in front won pretty much ... (except for the Mens Finals!) ... That was proper action ... hahaha That last move in the last corner was proper karma as that Frenchie had been taking okes out in almost every heat. Although - he was bloody strong and sort of deserved the win

Andrew Martin (aka Ginger Snap) - Hattons Cycles / Giant and Gregg Brown (aka Special) - Jeep / Morewood Both bloody good downhillers - Gregg is like Sam Hill (if he can stay on his bike and get his head in the right place on the day) Andrew is very precise! was 2nd overall at last nationals i think! So should have a good chance of a top 20 even through hes been off with a broken leg for a bit

Remember that there are also Junior worlds as well as Trials .... so there is a lot to fit into one set programme over a week without there being clashes ...
