  5. Crazy Video!! I hit a bushpig on breedtsnek ride (not the big hill) but coming back was doing 40km/ph at the time. He ran in front of me and i tee boned him, naturally i went flying. Bike broken!
  6. if you want grip on the front, put the nobbly nic on
  7. schwalbe RR, cant beat them, either the snakeskin or the double defense.
  8. Hi, Am looking at joining a team for this event, if anyone is looking for a team mate for whatever reason, please let me know.
  9. site working again...nice work BTW do you have the TRAILS for the garmin, if you can put them on your site that would be even better, especially for van gaalens (there route markings are terrible) nice website, cool and relevant info, thanks
  10. Swartpiet, Your site is broken: "Domain Inactive Sorry, this site is currently not available"
  11. I am interested, i have sent you an email
  12. i will not touch a conti tire with a barge pole. Had the Race King on the rear, i had 3 tires that deformed on the back wheel. Conti replaced them all, but have zero confidents in their tires after that. but i guess its personal......
  13. The NN on the front is great, i have so much confidence in that tire round the corners, even if it doesnt roll as easy as the RR. You can put the RR on the front and the rear, i did that for a while, but feel so much more confident with the NN on the front.
  14. Nobbly Nic front = awesome grip Raching Ralphs rear = awesome performance used this in the epic and had no problems.
  15. wow seems the world has gone crazy over these 29ers. great time to go and buy a 26er
  16. ouch! get better soon. to the support guys
  17. Stay on the bike you know, changing anything this close to the epic will be a mistake.
  18. Hi Sean, I am using the Schwable Racing Ralph UST rear and Nobbly Nick front. I have been using these all season (including attakwas) with no issues. I think any tyre that is UST should be fine, and it also comes down to tyre pressure. What tyre do you normally use? Do you need a reason to change tyres now? P.s Good luck with Argus, and we see you in a few weeks Regards Wayne Champion
  19. option 1
  20. Am curious about the opinion of the hubbers regarding the following three bikes: Volcan FSPRO Specialized S-works Epic Ghost RT Lector Pro team
  21. Found this on Garmin Explore http://connect.garmin.com/activity/54072097
  22. Also Carbon crutches? Those aluminium crutches are a bit of an eye sore, imagine a carbon finish on a pair of crutches ... P.S Hope the recovery goes well
  23. whats 10 extra km's out of 100km's. It was a ball ache i must be honest, kinda through you mentally as you had to play "catchup" and also ended up at the back of the pack, so in the single track / uphills you had traffic to deal with..... but all in all it was a good race, very hot though
  24. I got the misses the KTM SCORE RC 4.0, she loves the colours, i was happy it was a full susser and didn't brake the bank. she is happy, so hopefully she will ride it often.
