The tcr looks like the better option and will get you where you need to be. Just drop newer pair of wheels on that one and it will be good to go. Those ultegra groupsets are bulletproof, i have those in 9 speed.. 😁 ps. Just make sure about the size as 50 is quite small.

I've done it via adderley and wellington road but think wellington road is safer. But would still not recommend solo. There might be someone here that knows of group rides that go out that way that you can maybe join.

This is total shot in the dark, but wouldn't an event that starts with a roadrace, eg. 70km and then a transition into a 30km mtb race with proper elevation onto some of the surrounding trails, attract some interest..

I would recommend using a broker with an established company. Might cost a little bit more but just makes the claim process that much easier.. specify the bike.
