  1. Took the chameleon to Eden Forest yesterday. It never disappoints 👌🏻🤘🏻
  2. Nice! 👌🏻 I had my eye on this one, but the size large would have been too big for me 😅 Thats a quality frame. Enjoy!
  3. I’m running Sun Ringle Duroc 40 wheels, with an inner rim width of 36mm.
  4. That’s right. I’ve set it up for maximum fun. Put the sliding dropouts all the way forward for a 415mm chainstay length. I don’t care about Strava times. All I want is to pop off of any rock or root on the trail 🤘🏻
  5. Finally finished my 2018 Santa Cruz Chameleon build on Saturday So stoked on how well it turned out. Decided to go the 27.5+ route. So far the bike feels amazing
  6. Yip, i had a similar experience with him when when i bought a set of Magura brakes, and the one lever was leaking. Luckily i managed to get some cash back from him as compensation. Only after hounding him for weeks though.
  7. Still having loads of fun on my 2018 Cotic BFe 26". It's the last 26" frame produced by Cotic, and has pretty modern geo by modern standards. Even thru axle at the back.
  8. Yes, times are tough! I don't even have money for basic maintenance. I'm riding with a stretched chain, and can't even afford to replace my shifter and dropper cables 😬 Luckily I ride a steel hardtail, so maintenance is minimal compared to most 😅

  10. Geometry and frame material are the 1st things I look at when evaluating a bike. I like to think that I've matured past the point of looking at what bike has the best components, and rather what bike has the best frame and geometry. I've always maintained that it is easy to change/upgrade components, but you are pretty much stuck with the frame you have. So that should always be your stating point when comparing bike A to bike B. Steve from "Hardtail Party" has taught me a lot of what I know today. He is a constant source of knowledge and inspiration. Its worth checking his channel out: https://www.youtube.com/c/hardtailparty

  12. Hi all After having endless problems with Magura Carbotecture levers either leaking or breaking 🙄... I decided to give the Shigura's a try. I did some research on this setup, and the feedback was favorable. So I a paired my Magura MT8 calipers with Shimano Deore M6100 levers. I took it out for a test ride over the weekend, and it felt amazing! All the power from the Magura calipers, combined with the great modulation from the Shimano levers. The best of both worlds. I would definitely recommend going this route if you are having issues with your Magura levers. Comment down below if you have a similar setup, and what your experience has been like.
  13. Hi all Here is my 2018 Cotic BFe 26" I'm really enjoying this bike, and will continue to ride it until i can afford a 29" steel alternative. I have my eye on the Pipedream Sirius 🤤 Here are the current build specs. I have no plans to upgrade anything at this stage. Will just maintain, and replace parts as they break. Frame: Size medium.
