Nah, B batch was never on it, okes were happy with their CTCT seedings and were just out for a training ride.
i closed down two gaps on adderly doing 250W for about 5mins, there were no fireworks until the stupid final sprint

Though I “think” previously the A batch neutral extended for the full 5k, not sure why they ended it at the Vissershok circle this time.
At least they seemed to apply the neutral consistently across the batches this year, last year the tandems and B caught A in the neutral zone because they weren’t neutralised.
There were a lot of dodgy wheels in B. Also a lekker coffee ride at 21km/h once we turned into the wind 😂
Sprint got very messy at the end, decided it wasn’t worth the risk and rolled in
