  1. The Giro have missed out on an opportunity here by not being the first WT Stage race to open its doors to an African Team. They are definitely poorer in this case. What kicks me in the nuts however, is to choose YellowFluo over more deserving others such as IAM, MTN and Caja . Italian Cycling for you.......what more can I say.
  2. IMO, defending champ Yohann Gene is the man to beat. Europcar always does well at this race. TeamMTNQhubeka however I feel have the strength in numbers to take the overall race. Gonna be very interesting. Let the races begin.
  3. Good luck with your expanding business venture. Always sad to see a good Hubber go. All of the best Breezer and enjoy your last Burger. PS! I still use those Mavic Aksiums for training I bought from you years ago. They haven't skipped a beat ;-)

  5. What size frame is that? Looks like a 56 or thereabouts. Pity about the Campag budgetry constraints, but quite understandable.
  6. Sorry for the side track here, but Digistu, any idea of the price range for the Rollei?
  7. Any ideas where I can get replacement carbon tension blades for Look KEO Blade pedals? Looking for the 16Nm ones.
  8. Always had good service from Naas and the guys at Evobikes. Stripped off a bike? I don't think so. Drop him a PM if you want clarity on your order. I'm sure he'll shed some light on the matter.

  11. First time trying this competition. Had great fun and a top 10 to boot. Great effort geraldm24. I like your style. Till next year?
  12. Can also vouch for these guys. You get what you ordered and you get it quickly. They also stock a great variety. Best of course are the Monday Madness sales; great specials those!!!
  13. Finally made it into top twenty. These falls however aren't helping my efforts and there're still another couple of sprints ahead. This weekend's gonna be make or break for me; so some anxious moments await.
  14. And here I thought I was the only excited one. I've gone completely crazy with Impey's yellow jersey. Still can't believe it.
  15. "in it to win it" Team name: GmanDeFrance

  19. As Posted to Master & Ladies Club Members by Garth Botha Cycling friends of the late Clem Morris – tragically killed by a drunk driver on Sunday in Port Elizabeth– are looking to stage a mass remembrance ride on Saturday 20 October 2012 from 06h00. The route is from BP 10th Avenue Walmer to the Pier at Hobie Beach – following Victoria Drive down to Schoenmakerskop then around the Marine Drive, ending up at the Pier and there, those carrying remembrance flowers, can cast these into the sea, and anyone who wishes to say a few words may do so. Steve Hayward from pedal power is also coming to Port Elizabeth for the ride.
  20. Will be following this thread closely. Am also a Masters & Ladies rider and will most definitely participate. Just give me the details............and I'm there.
  21. David Millar is trying to be good for the sport, but has been accused of being on the naive side with regards to the current situation of doping in the pro-peloton. He has recently asked the correct questions with regards to the role of the UCI in its role in doping over the last 10-15 years and was understandably "disappointed" when they denied any wrong-doing
  22. David Millar never tried to deny anything?? Seriously?? He called Philippe Gaumont, who witnessed his doping a "lunatic"! You okes must read the books.
  23. Greg Strock had health issues after being administered drugs by his coach Rene Wenzel without his knowledge. He eventually sued his his coach as well as Chris Carmichael for doing that to him which was settled out of court. You knew what you were doing yet you ran the risk. Have you had any adverse medical conditions to your doping regime? Were you not at all worried about your safety during these crazy transfusions and pill popping. Do you feel betrayed/angry by Dr. Eufe who used the silence to his advantage putting your life at risk. What tools do young cyclists have to know they are clean if they are expected to put 100% trust in doctors/soigneurs who are charged to keep athletes healthy and well recuperated using "natural" methods.
  24. Have you contributed to the Paul Kimmage Chip in Fund to help him defend himself against the UCI's Pat McQuaid and Hein Verbruggen? How much do you think these two played in the role of doping during the USPS years? How much do you think did the ASO have to do with turning a blind eye to doping in the TDF to get them out of the doldrums after the Festina Affair? So much questions and very little answers.
  25. Throughout the book the USPS team console themselves with their wrongdoings by telling themselves that "surely other teams were doing it as well?" Do you know of other teams who doped at the time and their methods? If so, are you hoping them to come forward themselves to expose their practices or are you just fostering the Omerta which still quietly exists in this sport? Partial declaration like Bjarne Riis in "Stages of Light & Dark" IT'S NOT NORMAL!!
