Herewith I would like to introduce my Transition Patrol I just built up Only taken her on a light pedal but so far so good while I try and get the suspension setup to my liking. First impression this bike likes to pop and get airborne

From this angle your chain length seems too long or turn in the B screw. Take the chain off and check if it isn't twisted as this could also be the culprit to it not mating correctly with your cassette hence the sound you are getting under load If the pulleys are worn then yes replace those as per all the other responses you got.

So if you are already close to the limits of max pressure in your shock I would look elsewhere. I weight around 75kg kitted up and went from 160psi to 210psi in the Float X

Transition Covert Loving this bike as it really rips both up and down Initially I couldn't get the small bump compliance I was after so got a Corset can for the Float X and what a difference this has made. Massive improvement with the initial part of the travel not to mention the mid stroke support gains.
