  1. I bought a pair of these to try out, and because i also go through glasses like toothbrushes, these work perfectly. Cheap and works great. https://rockbros.co.za/product/rockbros-optically-photochromic-cycling-glasses-black-red/
  2. It would seem that Hydrafit (powder) is a hypotonic mix where Hydra Zero is isotonic. Here is a video that explain the difference: Hydrafit has Carbs in the mix, where hydra is just electrolytes.
  3. Thanks folks, seems i'm on the right path. Guess I'm going to spend more than I'm planning, which is on Par for any avid cyclist i guess.
  4. G'Day folks I am in the market for a new pair of MTB cleats. These one's caught my eye and fall in my budget. Does anyone own these or had the them to test out? It's a pretty penny so want to make sure there are no "downsides" that is not in the media. Any other recommendations of cleats that won't disintegrate in a year like my current pair of Scott's will also be appreciated. Budget till ~ R5k
  5. I am looking for some suggestions. I am looking to get a new set of riding glasses, however, all the ones I've tried have a very narrow bridge which causes the glasses to sit halfway over my eyebrows. I've broken my nose a lot back in the day, so i have a very wide bridge. Any guidance would be appreciated.
  6. I've been using Slowmag, Ashwagandha root extract and Zinc+Vit D supplement. Together with Creatine daily. Works wonders for me so far.
  7. Isn't buying a new bike always important?
  8. My mate pulled out, have an entry, just not sure if they can transfer to your name.
  9. Was the best organised event I've personally attended. Great weekend and will definitely add this to my recurring ride list. Will upgrade my tent from the cattle class next time though....and invest in better earplugs 😅
  10. I think he sent Franky Four Fingers to collect the briefcase...
  11. Does anyone know where I can get those plastic brake spacers to keep your pistons spaced while the wheels are off? Can't find anything online. Also not quite sure what they are officially called.
  12. Does anyone know if the 30km route is open to ride or is it just the 10km and 20km?
  13. This is mostly for C-1 models. Most of the current models are not included. (At least when I checked).
  14. Thanks, really adds perspective to what you see on TV.
  15. I am just curious about how big a difference e-bikes makes on the effort required to ride. The camera riders that follow the leaders in the EPIC seem to be following the leaders with relative ease, especially on the inclines. Granted, I guess there needs to be a certain level of fitness involved to ride these distances behind the leaders, but do e-bikes make it THAT easy to do this with what seems to be 50% of the effort involved riding a normal bike?
  16. Ah, thanks for clarifying, my stupid ass thought that the 3 levers controls each shock individually (1 front, 1 rear and one for the dropper)... would've been awesome if it worked like OP needs.
  17. Scott makes the TwinLoc remote which controls each shock individually and the dropper if applies.
  18. This is why we can't have nice things....
  19. I used the below website, but I would suggest go to the shop and feel what bike fits best...just my 2c https://www.bicycle-guider.com/bike-articles/bike-size-chart/
  20. Thanks a mill, still can't seem to find one locally though.
