We've had the new Mountain King II's and XKing's (both Racesport, 2.2) in for a while now. There are still some left http://www.easybike.co.za/tyres.html

Ditto exactly what Brighter-Lights said: the tape, the adjusting spanner, and carefully. And DON'T run your tyre pressure too low.

You probably need to loosen (or maybe tighten) the cable just a fraction. Try manipulating is manually (pulling the cable housing etc) to see if you can lock it, or see if it's too loose or tight. If it is a tension issue, you'll need to use a 1.5mm allen key.
