  8. Wow lots of great replies. Thanks everyone. Lots of food for thought there. The Maxxis Crossmark was also an option. Anyone one if those would be better on tar?
  9. Any idea how they are on tar?
  10. The title says it all. I’m going with UST tubeless tires on my MTB. I ride the suburbs so it’s a fair amount of tar and some trails, pavement, velt etc. So is it : A. Conti Race King rear / Conti Mountain King front Or B. Conti Race King rear / Conti Race King front I'd also like to be able to use the bike at MTB parks and the like now and again.
  11. Many thanks.

  13. Thanks again. I agree. They don't make it too clear in the manual either. I'll give it a bash in the morning.
  14. Thanks for taking the time to reply Burts. So are you saying that once I get back to the Bike 1/2 screen, what ever bike I leave it on before pressing Back (left button), that is the bike that will be used in terms of the settings and recorded distance?

  17. An update. Got the 540's. Got the shoes. (With apologies to Sam Hill and patches.) Yet try 'em out. I'll let you know how it goes. Thanks to everyone for the advise.
  18. +1 and +1 Use both these shops. Great attitudes and reasonable prices at both.

  22. Many thanks stewie. I'm not a competitive rider, but I am starting to do 25km rides on my MTB and looking to go longer. I'll take a look at those spd's. Are you recommending them for MTB and road?
  23. Noted with thanks Charl. Is there a different technique to pedaling with a clipless pedal, or does it just come naturally?
