My folks saw an attempted bike hijacking at about 1:30 just after fields hill near the steel mill. They saw 3 guys run across the highway to try take a bike from one of the backmarkers, unfortunately they couldn't stop and help out so they were not sure how it ended up. Hope the backmarker is okay!

Nice! Reminded me of a bike ride I did along the Danube in Austria. One of the most memorable rides I've done.

Rode there shortly after the supersport footage, really really nice! Gods window is amazing. It's not too far from mid-illovo, might be an idea to link up with those trails too.

They 60k is a perfect course, everything you need in a good challenging yet enjoyable ride. So much better than the hill2hill. Just bummed I got stuck in a long line of traffic on the final downhill home. Some guy in front of me was braking around the burms! Must have been a roadie! Think this enduro concept is growing on me. Will have to try do it make a weekend of it next year.

Here are the details form a mail I go yesterday... parking hasnt been a mission for me. but I try get there as early as possible. Registration will be at the Karkloof Country Club on Friday 16:00-18:30 ; Saturday 11:00-13:30 and Sunday 05:30-09:45. Please ensure that you come through registration AT LEAST 1 hour 30 minutes prior to the start of your event on the day of your event in order to avoid any last minute rushing! If you would prefer to register for all of your events on either Friday or Saturday, please feel free to come through registration at the above specified times. You will then NOT need to come through registration again on Sunday.

I find the Windguru app pretty accurate and only predicts rain later in the afternoon. Has not been too wet this autumn so should be okay.
