I have have found that light camera thing relatively accurate. but def can give some wonky results. sports tracker and endomondo with the approriate belt will do what you need. www.sportstracker.com has the belt on there

in short, dont put a longer travel fork on a bike that isnt designed to run that travel. especially on an xc bike. also i dont really see you needing 140mm if you are xc riding. if you are more into trail/am get the appropriate bike
