  1. Toney Impey Cycles, is good and knowledgeable. Toney still cycles. and they are friendly. I can't say how the price comparisons are like! but at Cajees in Parkmeadows you can negotiate! ask them is this the Cajees price

  3. I agree that over the same distance that MTB is tougher and you work harder, but what if it is over the same time span?
  4. Ok lets say that the same bike is used, a MTB with nobblies for both courses, 10km offroad trail, and 17km road! Same rider so there is no weight difference, also there is no tyre change

  9. I have been wondering and a fellow hubber and friend fuelled the question! If I cycle 17km in 43 min on my MTB with nobblies on the road. And another cyclist cycles 10km in 43min. Who work harder to complete their training course?

  12. Serious guys DJR and leet22, buy the guys out, make them an offer they can not refuse! Take a wheel spanner and baseball bat if need be!! Turn that little coffee shop into your own Gold mine! Carrying a tub of vaseline with you to places like those are no fun! I want to actually enjoy it when I get screwed. But back to the topic. You will invest quite a bit of money into the place. It will however return your investment within a 2 years, this is based upon the way you speak about the potential of the coffee shop.

  20. Well done Charl. Weigh in is on Monday!!!!! Or you afraid you might pick up one of those 2 KG's you lost! My Update: I check the calories of everything I eat! Including the fat %, I am not so worried about the amount of carbs and protein i take in. I average out at about 1800 cal a day. and on cycling days I average out consuming 2800 calories. Haven't been on a scale, I will tempt fate on Monday morning

  22. I must admit one thing. 1. I grossly under estimated the importance and value of a HRM when you train, as it does make sure that keep a much better eye on your heart, very important!!! You may just die!! and it tracks your actual calorie burn, far more accurate than my cycling computer and/or BB does
