  1. lol just stop.
  2. Does not look like a bike that has done 2 rides šŸ«¤
  3. I did the marathon and thoroughly enjoyed the race; pure mountain biking. Personally I felt the race organisers did really well at putting the event together. It was always going to be challenging to avoid bottlenecks etc. full marks to them. I heard some of the half marathon guys ran out of water, thatā€™s unacceptable, hopefully they can make better estimates of water needs going forward.
  4. Lol šŸ¤£
  5. The Bicycle service company had 2 left.
  6. Yep, youā€™re right. 2.2 is cutting it fine. Iā€™ve just placed an order for 2 of those Pirelli Scorpion RC XC lite 2.4s šŸ’Ø šŸ˜
  7. I have a wheelset with 29 mm internal width, 35 mm external width and 22 mm depth. Looking for the 2.2s to cut weight although Iā€™m aware that my Rims are quite wide. Whatā€™s your thoughts?
  8. Thanks. Hopefully there will be stock if the Pirelliā€™s in 2.2 available soon as well.
  9. I found them to roll very quick. Perhaps you could get the racing Ralph 2.25 front and rear if itā€™s just for asphalt rides?
  10. Iā€™m running a 2.2 recon race on the back and a 2.4 Recon WT in the front but I feel like this is too heavy for racing. Previously had a 2.25 Racing Ralph super race on the back and 2.35 Racing Ray super race on the front. Got punished with punctures on these though. The conti race king and cross king seem like a decent mix? Thanks for the input on the Pirelliā€™s, will give them a try but want to run the 2.2 on the back and I canā€™t seem to see that anyone has stock.
  11. @Murrob what size are you running?
  12. Howsit all What tyre combinations are you running for cross country marathon races?
  13. This is heartbreaking, will keep Jessie in my prayers.
  14. Trailseeker have announced that their 2nd event for the year will take place at cradle moon. Where do you think the marathon route will run through as there is no way 70km can be done in cradle moon itself? Also, the single track is very tight at CM, sounds like a recipe for disaster with all the bottlenecks that will take place? Thoughts?
  15. Thereā€™s a whole family covering the territory. Iā€™ve seen them multiple times.
  16. Jaco at SGBā€™s service is also second to none. If youā€™re in Gauteng and need your suspension sorted, do yourself a favour and get in touch with Jaco. Iā€™m a very happy client.
  17. Hi all! Ended up taking my bike to Jaco SGB service centre. One week in and the bike feels great! Very plush and smooth and glides through the trails!
  18. Hi All Are there any places that you would recommend to service and do rebuilds on your MTB fork and suspension in Johannesburg?
  19. @Furbz ah lekker!! Letā€™s check that RC SL??? Proper bike šŸ‘Œ
  20. Hi @Furbz, what did you end up choosing?
